Which Characters Deserve More Action in the Star Wars Universe

Which Characters Deserve More Action in the Star Wars Universe? Cad Bane, Ahsoka Tano and a few others have made the jump from animation to live-action in Star Wars. There are plenty of characters in Star Wars who deserve the live-action treatment. Let’s discuss who we want to see cross over from animation to live-action.

Cad Bane made an appearance in the Book of Boba Fett which made his live action debut. This left fans wondering who else might we see make the jump. Here are EIGHT animated characters that deserve the live-action treatment.
8/8
Zeb

Zeb, otherwise known as Garazeb Orrelios, is a male Lasat rebel who survived the destruction of his home world at the hands of the Empire. He is a prominent crew member of the Starship Ghost and helped establish the Rebel Alliance that we know today. Zeb is the muscle of the group, which should come as no surprise, considering his design is based off early concept art for Chewbacca by illustrator Ralph McQuarrie.
Zeb make the jump to live-action is a very welcoming thought. Star Wars could use some variety when it comes to muscle characters because we’ve only gotten Droids and Wookiees so far. Zeb was also good for some comic relief now and again.
7/8
Sabine Wren

Sabine Wren is a true Mandalorian warrior but her haunting past forced her to turn bounty hunter. Eventually Sabine is recruited to join the rebel crew of the starship Ghost. She becomes a prominent leader during the rebellion against the Galactic Empire and eventually winds up wielding the coveted Darksaber.
Sabine would be a great addition to live-action Star Wars. She is a different take on what a Mandalorian should look like. Sabine could also be force sensitive, after all she was trained by Kanan Jarrus in lightsaber combat.
6/8
Savage Opress

Did you know Darth Maul had an older brother? Enter Savage Opress, corrupted by dark magic from the Nightsister witches led by Mother Talzin. Originally Savage Opress was meant to aid Asajj Ventress in her revenge against her former master Count Dooku. Things don’t always go as planned, leading to Savage Opress betraying Ventress and becoming his brother Darth Maul’s apprentice. The two had a good run together until Savage Opress was killed by Darth Sidious.
Characters have been brought back to life before in Star Wars. Imagine a bigger, badder more angrier version of Darth Maul, infused with dark magic in live-action. This is something I could get behind.
5/8
Hera Syndulla

Hera Syndulla is the daughter of General Cham Syndulla, a founding member of the early rebellion against the empire and fierce pilot of the Ghost starship. She is one of the strongest female characters in Star Wars and that is saying something.
Hera had a love interest, Kanan Jarrus, one of the remaining Jedi who survived order 66. The two had a child together named Jacen Syndulla. Unfortunately Kanan died before he was born. It would be interesting to see Hera and her child brought to live action, perhaps he is force sensitive too.
4/8
Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger is one of the most influential animated characters in all of Star Wars. Padawan to Kanan Jarrus, and crew member of the Ghost Starship. His journey was fascinating to watch, as he toed the line between good and evil. Sith Lord Maul did his best to corrupt young Ezra but in the end good triumphed.
Ezra was last seen sacrificing himself by removing himself and Grand Admiral Thrawn from the field of battle by hyperspace. This allowed the Lothal Resistance on the ground to liberate the planet. Ahsoka Tano and Sabine set out looking for him and that is the last we know of Ezra Bridger.
3/8
Mother Talzin

Mother Talzin is a female Dathomirian. She is the leader of the Nightsisters and ruler of the Nightbrothers. A powerful witch and mother to both Darth Maul and Savage Opress. Maul was stolen from her as a child by Darth Sidious and she devoted her life to destroying the Sith with her dark magic.
Bringing Mother Talzin to live-action would bring a new brand of Star Wars to life. Magic hasn’t truly been explored in this way yet and there is a dark mysterious undertone to the Nightsisters that deserves to be explored.
2/8
Asajj Ventress

Asajj Ventress was a Dathomirian female, former Nightsister turned Jedi Padawan, turned Dark Acolyte to none other than Count Dooku. Arguably one of the wildest character arcs in all of Star Wars. Asajj Ventress was perhaps the biggest thorn in the side of Anakin Skywalker, Kenobi and Ahsoka, during the Clone Wars.
Asajj Ventress eventually turned back to the light, as she fell in love with Quinlan Vos. Quinlan is a Jedi Master that was tasked with assassinating Count Dooku. Asajj Ventress ended up sacrificing herself by jumping in front of force lightning to protect Quinlan, ending her life. She was laid to rest on Dathomir.
1/8
Grand Admiral Thrawn

Grand Admiral Thrawn is the Thanos of the Star Wars Galaxy. He is not like your typical villain. He is more brains, he would study a civilizations culture and from that learn how to defeat them. Grand Admiral Thrawn always seems to be one step ahead of his opponents. Thrawn is a fan favorite even before returning to cannon.
We last saw Grand Admiral Thrawn at the battle of Lothal. Ezra sent them out into space by way of hyperspace, freeing the planet from his grip. If Grand Admiral Thrawn makes his way over to live-action, chances are we are in for some great story telling. Now ask yourself… Which Characters Deserve More Action in the Star Wars Universe?
