Written by Zack Kaplan and published by Darkhorse Comics, Break Out, is a sci-fi mystery that revolves around the initial encounter of gigantic cubic spaceships land on Earth. After a futile resistance, the planet quickly succumbs to occupation and now, every few days, aliens come down to abduct dozens of young people around the world. But after a while, governments and adults across the world accept this loss as inevitable. They start to live like it’s just the way it must be.

RAIN: One of the Best Indie Comics to Read Right Now
Written by Joe Hill and David M Booher. Published by Image comics. Predicting when it’s going to rain, and especially where, can be tough, even with today’s technology. But what if it meant the difference between life and death?
That’s the main idea behind Rain, a horror story by Joe Hill, written with David M. Booher and featuring art by Zoe Thorogood and colors by Chris O’Halloran. When razor-sharp crystalline nails replace wet water falling out of the sky, Honeysuckle and her girlfriend Yolanda have their lives turned upside down.
But what does it mean for the rest of the planet? As theories swirl on who’s at fault, Honeysuckle must navigate a rapidly deteriorating world with little hope in sight. Thorogood’s art and O’Halloran’s colors feel comfortable, like home, and stand in stark contrast to the gruesome tale they tell. Illustrated by Zoe Thorogood.
Written by Adam Rose and published with love by Source Point Press. In a galaxy filled with twin moons, twin suns, and twin planets, everything comes in twos. Even the people. And if your twin dies… so do you. This is the way it’s always been. So, when Captain Andromeda’s twin loses her life in a far-off military battle, and Captain Andromeda herself DOES NOT die… the universe demands answers. Answers that the Captain is willing to give … to the highest bidder, of course. This is COROLLARY—a four-issue bombastic sci-fi romp. Illustrated by Robert Ahmad.
PROJECT SUPERPOWERS: FRACTURED STATES

How can he save a nation if he can’t even save himself? Illustrated by Emilio Utrera.
Written by Brian Schirmer and Published by Vault Comics. A skeleton, an apprentice mage, and an exiled princess walk into a bar… for another shift at Quests Aside, the local watering hole run by once legendary, now retired adventurer Barrow.
When the King privately explains that he plans to shut the place down, Barrow must find a way to hold onto his business and the family he’s built around it.
